There is something about the white hair that is not simply color. It is absence. The figure contains everything in silence. Austere, restrained, gazing at something we cannot see. And above it, the urgent, pink gesture, almost violent in its spontaneity. Two forces that do not cancel each other out. They define each other.

 

Brûler was born from that tension: what is contained and what overflows. What remains and what burns.

 

Archival pigment on 310g cotton paper with manual intervention by the author. Each of the three pieces bears a unique gesture on its surface, present but not identical in any of the editions.
